Born and raised in India, I studied at the National Institute of Design, where I gained exposure to varied creative disciplines from industrial design to ceramics and photography. I moved to California in 2005 to pursue an MFA in graphic design at the Academy of Art University, and have called the Golden State home ever since. I also teach undergraduate students in the Graphic Design department at the California College of the Arts, a practice that has been extremely helpful in honing my own point of view. Travel is my preferred way to recharge, and I never say no to a hike or the offer of a home cooked meal.
